Portraits are painted onto fine stretched linen in sizes to suit your specific requirements.
I use a technique similar to the Traditional Renaissance painters, building up several layers of very fine pigments mixed with oil and pure essential Lavender to achieve an almost translucent finish.
Paintings from photographs can easily be arranged. Please send me your photographs, either by digital images posted by e-mail or as prints posted using traditional post. I will then discuss the photographs with you and confirm the size and cost.
Prices start from £500 and a 30% deposit is required once you agree to go ahead.
